I use Mar. Mystory Oil in my gas. We used this stuff in everything that ran in the
off-shore oil drilling industry. It is kinda like transmition fluid in appearance.
You use 2 oz. for every five gallons. What it does is lube the valve train, cushion
the valve seats, and helps to lube the cilinder walls. It has been explained to me
that diesal engines have such a long life due to the fact that their fuel lubs the top
end as the engine runs. The Mystory oil in the gas give this benifite to a gas
engine. I cannot speek for a V-Max, mine only has 9,000 miles, but my Ford Escort had
130,000 miles on her.... did not burn oil, started in less than a sec., and plugs
looked brand new after 30,000 miles.
