Steve, I think Eric & Don have it right with regards traction & ease of use
etc. If I went for a 6"+ or 190+ it would be for the added visual effect.
Not VERY noticeable but I'd have that feel good factor.. which is what I
(PERSONALLY) am after.. ffaatt... ;-))
