Throttle assembly

I need a throttle assy / tube etc for my '98 Max - does anyone know if the
same throttle is used on other models?  or can it be easily replaced by a
throttle from another manufacturer?  I can't even get hold of a Yamaha
replacement cost, either! (UK)

Any advice appreciated
