If you are binding after the top nut, and I am assuming you are talking
about the chrome castle nut, it typically means that you have not
loosened your pinch bolts at your forks and you are bending the triple
clamp. I assume that you mean the steering binds and not the wheel
rotation. Try loosening the pinch bolts enough to allow the forks to
slightly move as you tighten the nut. Post your results. You need to
be more specific to answer further.
