Forgive me for my sins but I just put down a deposit for my 01 hayabusa,
they don't even know what the colors will be yet. It will be the first of
October when it arrives. Not to worry though, I could never part with
Maxine, she will just have a new stable mate. By the way Don, 108 today in
Dallas!

Vinny, be careful with the Busa. There have been some recalls, the
latest problem is the subframe breaking where it joins the frame. No one
has died, but there have been numerous misses with the seat dropping and
running on the tire! Hell of a wake up call. Suzuki has a steel one
available, but you'll have to buy it, 300.00 plus. They only stick a
aluminum one back on under warranty. So far they're being replaced as a
goodwill measure if it breaks. As far as individual filters on stock
carbs, I haven't seen it work yet. There are some who say you can bump
the mains to 170's,I tried all the way to Mikuni 190's and nope. If the
main jet restrictors were put in with the larger hole facing up, you
could take a sheet metal screw and insert it and remove them like that.
Why would someone want a stock system? I'd leave it as is to sell.
