R1 front brakes on a VMAX

   Someone posted a message that said the front brakes from a Yamaha R1
is a direct
replacement for newer VMAX.........they also stated that they can now
"lock up" the
front brakes using 2 fingers ???    Is this a good thing ??    It sounds
like a recipe for
disaster to me.
