I thought that might get your attention!! >;-P I got the synchronizer all set up today to do the synchro job on the carbs. Many have recommended blowing out the jets before I begin. I, as always, need some help! 1) OK the idle jets are under the brass plugs right? After I take them out and blow air through them, how many turns should they be form bottom. I heard 5 & 1/2? 2) This is where I am really lost. I am looking down the carb throat. Let's say front left carb. At 12:00 and 6:00 I have in each location a small round hole. I am thinking this is the velocity stack hold down screws, right? 3) At 9:00 I have an elongated loop at the base of the slide. I am think this is part of the slide mechanism, right? 4) At 1:30, I have a round black plastic straw with a brass plug in it, with a hole in the center of the plug. What the hell is this? 5) At 4:30, I have another black plastic straw with another brass plug in but this has a slot running across the hole in the center. It looks like a screw driver could fit across and turn the brass plug. What the hell is this? 6) What do I stick the air hose in to blow out? I am guessing #4 or #5. 7) Finally, would the air pressure from a rubber tipped air hose auto tire air line 100PSI harm any of these "holes"? I have worked on plenty of carbs in my day, but this is my first attempt at tackling a CV carb. As always thanks for the help guys!!!
