Jerry,
these guys(SS/nightrider) have a good grip of whats going on
in the realm they are operating in.
but.......these explanations and efforts don't cover what's
going on with the V-4 and cobra pipes.
guys on this list you are pretty sharp have stated that the
problem is that the cobras don't maintain the cross-over pipe between the 2
rear cylinders thus upsetting the backpressure (lower) a nd allowing the
pipes to over scavange the incoming fuel charge and drop power.
perhaps one of those "smart" guys will post the whole story
for us?
