Yep, we were both surprised. Thats box stock with the M4 slip ons. He
still says thats plenty for him. Its quite the light weight though. I
thought the Max had a rev limiter??? The guy who made the run said he
always takes the bikes to the limiter then backs off, but the max went
to 11.2K w/o ever hitting any kind of limiter before he let off...of
course the hp started dropping off around 87-88K. Any thoughts on why
the torque on the max was so low? 69 seems a bit shallow to me. I read
in an earlier post that the K&N's should be cleaned every year. I
bought mine from my brother 1 1/2 years ago and I know its never been
cleaned, but the plugs were changed about 4 months ago and it seems to
be running fine..
