Here's something which was posted on the GTS list:
"You want to know what else happened at Deal's Gap this past
weekend? There were 13 wrecks at the Gap this past weekend,
6 were taken to hospitals and were listed as critical, one
lost his life (on a Hayabusa). I have little interest in
EVER returning to this place!"
I know how much the VMOA loves Deal's Gap (as do I). But please
be careful out there. It may not be you, it may be the squid in
front of you that can't handle it. Let's not be the ones becoming
statistics. (besides, things like this are liable to get the
local law enforcement to really crack down on it- don't wind up
in jail either)
On an unrelated topic:
I've been unbearably busy the past few months, and I have 150 Vmax
mailing list digests (between egroups and the tech list) in my inbox.
I *do* plan on reading them all eventually. *sigh* I haven't fallen
off the planet, just in semi-lurking mode. Will shift back to
more active reading/posting as soon as I can.
