Trueblue,

As Don says, Paul Sayegh made and installed them; I think he's away for
a while, so I'll tell you what I know, since I rode his bike.  Don't
remember exact dimensions, but they lengthen the bar by just an inch or
so per side.

They feel a LOT better than the standard Max bars, more leverage, less
feeling that the bike might get away from you in slow maneuvering.  If
you go with completely different bars, you could get a different bend,
different angle--you'll have to decide for yourself which would feel the
best.

I chose to go with a wide bar with more pullback than the standard Max
bars, otherwise would have had Paul make me a set of his extensions. 
One disadvantage with his extensions--you can't use bar-end things like
mirrors, or weights to reduce vibration.
