I have been gone for three weeks. Did you guys miss me? Hey I have a question. I
ordered the metzler front tire but they are not projected to get ANY V-Max front tire
in for the next two months. The Avelon Super Venom's are out too. I would like to
stick to the stock size, kinda on the sticky side for burn-outs. Got any suggestions?
Just came back from the Ruiodoso, N.M. Aspincade. It was a blast. About 20 maxes
crusing around town. 30,000 bikes in a town that is normally 20,000 people. It was
quite a sight to see at the convention center. 15,000 bikes in a parking lot desgined
for 1000 cars!!! Steppin-Wolf put on a consert and when they played "born to be
wild", the house came down. They played a 15 minute version of it and at one point
the crowd drowned out the band they were singing so loud.
Finally got to swing my leg over a Boss Hoss. There is something to be said for
having 365 horse power on two wheels between your legs!!!! I got back on my "P-51"
and it felt like I was riding a mo-ped.
Cops every where. I bet they had the entire New Mexico State Troopers Force walking
the beat. One mile over the speed limit(25MPH!!!!) and you were pulled over. They
did not seem to care about burn-outs in the parking lots though.

Man I got to shed those tanks the next time I go in the spring. Every where I would
go a croud would gather and the questions would start flying. Twords the end of the
weekend I attached a beer tap to the rear of each one. The Harley croud loved it.
Got pulled over by Ruiodoso PD for a suspected "open container"!!! If you guys are in
the area in the spring I highly recomend it. Montain driving with the temps in the
60's.
