Yeah, for the most part. I bought the motor with a 1260 kit, Falicon crank,
Venolia pistons, Carillo rods, lightened flywheel,etc... all the good stuff.
Second gear was out (of course) so had MRE to their magic. I want a lock-up
clutch, but haven't decided whose to use (anybody have a suggestion?). The
motor had a Fuegle 74ci blower on it and a Quadrajet (!) carb on a
"farm-engineered" manifold. It ran surprisingly well, but definitely not
competitive. The blower is a little small for this application so I'll just
spin it a little faster.
