Not that I know of if you go by NOS recomendation, but it seams that
the Vmaxe's combustion chambers will take
some abuse before detonation . With nitrous you are not
dealing with the rise in intake temp. that is a result of compressing
air . From the pepole that have gone before me it seams that if you
restrain yourself in your jetting
nitrous will work fine if you stay on top of your plug readings . With
nitrous,turbo,or supercharging you are introducing another system that
requires more maintainence . In my opinion you can't just bolt this
stuff on , make it work,then forget it .
One of the bigest things that pepole never talk about is
the chassis mods that need to be done before you increase the power by
30+ % . I feel that the basic stock Vmax chassis is good for about 150hp
. After that some big time money has to be spent to keep safe .
