Tyler, most of my comments are for the  DIY . A non-tech person can own
a beam type torque wrench and be assured of its accuracy . Plus a lot
less money . Some pepole think that a beam torque wrench is an inferior
wrench . Most of these guys do not make a living with tools .  The only
place I have ever seen a torque checking unit was in aircraft maint.

has a torque wrench tester,if they are friendly they may test it for
you, Gray, Mac, and Snap-on can test and recalibrate it. your torque
wrench, I just had my 5 torque wrenches tested, they were calibrated 3
years ago and there still within tolerance, the must important thing
with a click type is to reset it to it's lowest setting when finished
with it.
