I know one or two owners like me have fitted cycle computers to their bikes.
I originally fitted one because I need a reasonably legible Km/h display.
The green outer scale on the speedo of my US import is too small and faint
for a geriatric like me. This unit has 17 functions including speed, clock,
trip and so on all displayed at once. It even has an EL backlit display for
night riding. It comes in both wired and wireless versions and costs a mere
$60/- (for those of us who can't afford SPA kit).
The bad news though is that the maximum speed is a mere 120mph. Not that any
Max owner would dream of riding over that speed, would they? Nar!
