V-Max being kinda heavy (but no comparison to the Harley) & me a bit
inseam-challenged, I opted for a steel-plate-floor tilt-bed (single-axle),
to avoid the general hassle of ramps & make one-person on/off a snap. Have
now hauled both single & multiple (up to 3) bikes hundreds of miles on
dozens of trips & have NEVER regretted the choice. Good luck!
