I have just replaced the front with R-1 calipers and for some reason I can
not get a firm squeeze on the lever. I find it hard to believe that there
is air still in there. I have Vac'd over a quart at least with out any
bubbles. I am unable to bleed using the lever. It seems like like when I
return the lever the pressure cup does not come back far enough to open up
the small hole in the master to get another "gulp" of fluid. It has to sit
for awile and I still do not get a full pump. If I let it sit for alittle
bit I am able to vac fluid pretty steady which is needed to get all the air
out. I pulled everything apart a few times and all looks good. I have even
hung the calipers up and bleed that way to make sure that there wasn't any
air running back up the lines as I bleed. Everything worked fine with the
factory calipers. I am pretty sure the problem does not have anything to do
with the R-1's. I am at a loss, any help out there?????
