Raleigh, I have a set of Nissins from a CBR 900RR and they are a GREAT improvement over the old single piston calipers. You can contact John Furbur at Rocky Mountain Sportmax I think he still has some adaptors for them. Good Luck, Robbie i am looking into purchasing a set of R1 calipers or a set of Nissin Calipers( off CBR900 ). can i assume that i will be able to get adapters made to fit these calipers to my Max's caliper mounts? i know i am doing this kinda back asswards, but i have a chance to buy either of these sets now at a really decent price. actually, i think my Max brakes pretty good as it is now with the stock parts. i imagine that just going with some new EBC pads would be a decent improvement. but if anybody with a 1992 or earlier Max has any other setup that they are real satisfied with, please let me know.
