Okay Tech Wizards, here's one, why is the lower Head bearing pressed so hard on shaft?
reason I ask is, I do my own brakes on my Cars, and noticed the races are set in the
rotors(same as races set in steering stock), but the bearings are snug fit to spindle.
this method has seemed to work fine for the last 60 or more years, why can't the lower
bearing on the max be the same. I would make replacement and greasing a lot easier,
ok, fire away.
P.S. thinking of turning down steering shaft to make things easier.
