Darrin you need to install a new temperature fan switch.  I just installed a 
Neihoff wa636xb I purchased from Checker Auto.  It is the equivalent of the 
of the Borg-Warner TFS545.  You can order the Borg-Warner through 
Wrenchead.com for about $25 with shipping.  With it installed your temp. 
needle will stay at or below 3 o clock.  Tim VMOA #1036
