Each of the things I did improved handling over the previous thing, I
forgot to mention solid motor mounts and frame braces. It's my personal
opinion that on a basically stock horse powered Max both are not needed,
one or the other will do. Solid mounts are generally cheaper than braces
but much more difficult to install. I have all of the mods listed on my
1500 including frame braces & solid mounts. The difference between it's
handling and that of my stock '95 are like night and day. When I let
other Maxers ride the 1500, they can't believe how well it responds. I
have about $2500 tied up in handling mods, I think it was worth it.
