Bradford, I had the Vortex slip-ons on my 98 and with a stage 1 kit it made 110 on the dyno, and that was in a 90+ degree warehouse with high humidity. I wouldn't think thats any kind of power loss. You also have to take into account the 40 lbs you lose when you take off the original exhaust. Less weight equals better et's. I haven't dyno'd the Max with the Kerker yet, but i'm definitely looking forward to it, but this time i'm not gonna do it in the middle of the Texas summer. I'll let you know what it comes out to. Should be within the next month or so.

Gary - I've heard the Holeshot slip-ons and I don't like them compared to
ANY
4/1 system. Slip-ons lose horsepower. The loss of the cross-over box
unbalances the exhaust pulses on the two rear cylinders. Save your money any
go with any 4/1 ot 4/2 system available. Read Terry or Paul's links on the
club web site.
It'll cost more money, but you'll be much happier in the long run. Then
you'll have a base for future modifications if you so chose.
