Paul, Yamaha has 2 oversize piistons you can use. If you want more
compression and displacement, a 1260 on stock liners. After that new
liners, motor has to come apart, probably 4,000.00 by the time your
through. Chain drive? Expect to pay at least another 4,000.00 by the
time your through. Also motor has to come apart, frame and tank mods,
special swingarm. You won't be able to buy the parts from Yamaha if
something breaks, your talking custom work and expect to pay for it. How
deep are your pockets?
