Actually in 1985 you had a choice. I'm not sure what the name of the red
color was, but I know that the dark colored one is called Amethyst. It is
really a very dark metallic purple, not blue. I know that, because I am
still the original owner of one. I can't help with any phone numbers or
anything, but at least I can give one of the actual color names. I don' like
hearing it called blue when it isn't.
