HI Guys,

Clutches slip and wear for ONE REASON ONLY.... Not enough spring compression 
holding the plates together. Either the spring system is to weak or there is 
a mechanical setup problem that prevents the springs from applying full 
pressure (can we say improper clearances????? can we say binding linkage 
riding the clutch?????).

Remember,,,, the clearances you have COLD are not the Clearances you have 
HOT!!!!! I been down this road too many times...... Think!  You could get 
teflon plates to lockup if you applied enough clamping force.
