I've been considering installing a dc ammeter on my Vmax. I looked around at
the bike suppliers and found nothing. I looked around at the automotive
suppliers and it wasn't much better. About the best I've found so far is an
Equus EQ6140 from Sherco Auto Supply (http://www.sherco-

Has anyone here done an ammeter install on their 'Max? Any pointers? What did
you use for a shunt?
Also, If anyone knows of a good source for a bezel-mount (or panel-mount), zero-
center, round-face analog DC ammeter (something in the -50 to 50 range), please
pass it along. Back-lit would also be good.
