Subject: Re: [Squeak 0006336]: Unicode membership test reduced to String #= (String #compare:caseSensitive:) ?
Date: Tue, 08 May 2007 18:30:04 +0200

Hi Edgar,

I just tried with fresh downloaded 'From Squeak3.10alpha of 30 March 2007
[latest update: #7093] on 8 May 2007 at 6:22:03 pm' :

This image already contains my Unicode fixes and the first part of which
can *not* be loaded more than once, because of (almost) irrevesible data
conversion in some Unicode table.

Does this explain the problem (manifests itself with a DNU on
anInterget<<#asSymbol) ?

Cheers
Klaus

Summary: Unicode membership test reduced to String #=
(String #compare:caseSensitive:) ?
Description:
The fix below has been included in the OLPC image.

I suggest to include the fix into mainstream Squeak too, so if in the
future there are other fixes and improvements to I18N they can be applied
to both branches.

The files must be loaded in order:

- Unicode-kwl.1.cs
- Unicode-kwl.2.cs
