Hi, sorry about the delay in responding. Access is through an account on the community server named 'updates' and access to it is granted to individuals by adding an ssh public key to the authorized keys list. While I can do that for you anyone who already has access to that account can also do so; that includes Edgar, Ralph, Marcus, Stephane, etc. Whoever does it will need to get a copy of your public ssh key.
The FTP directory is at /var/www/files/ on the server with the 3.10 directory of course being at /var/www/files/3.10/. I suggest possibly putting up a test directory sort of before modifying the 3.10 directory. If you create a directory in the updates home directory called public_html (ensure that it is world-readable) you can arrange the files intended for the FTP site there for a test and for discussion purposes and then they can be looked at via http://users.squeak.org/~updates/ Of course you can create a sub-directory of that as well if you like. Ken P.S. You can often find me in the #squeak IRC channel as kencausey if you want to chat. I'm also on Skype as kencausey.
