+1. I'm *amazed* that people running production Seaside installations on
3.9 don't get bitten left and right by that bug. It's a complete
show-stopper.

Strangely, the patch is not applied on 3.9 series also. I think it is
clearly a bug and it should be fixed.
Socket timeout relies on this method, so the bug is fatal.
