Hi, My understanding is V8's speed gain is it achieve using compiling JS files to native code and have the OS executes code. But Squirrel fish is doing the same thing (compile to native code). So what else does V8 do which makes it faster than Squirrel Fish. I am not trying to understand what other technology which v8 has which makes it faster? Or it can generate much more efficient machine code from a JS file than SquirrelFish's JS compiler?
