Math.log1p(8070450532247929/Math.pow(2,60)) returns
0.006975613736425138
The correct answer from maxima is
6.975613736425242244226051930404380841777243297883756387393298702b-3
This is a difference of about 120 ulp (binary).
An accurate log1p function would allow computation of the inverse
hyperbolic functions over the whole domain of finite floating-point numbers.
