Let D(x) = Math.expm1(x), and assume expm1(x) is accurate.
Then
cosh(x) = 1 + 1/2*D(x)*(1 - 1/(1+D(x)))
When |x| > 709.8 (actually log(most-positive-float)), use the same formula
as for sinh(x) since sinh(x) = cosh(x) for large x.
