Detailed description of the issue.
Attempting to install V8 via SVN on Linux Mint 17 (x64)
My install steps:
SVN checkout && make builddeps
Cannot seem to get past this error w/ gmock:
Checked out revision 692.
svn checkout --force https://googlemock.googlecode.com/svn/trunk \
testing/gmock --revision 485
svn: warning: W200000: Error handling externals definition
for 'testing/gmock/gtest':
svn: warning: W120108: Unable to connect to a repository at
URL 'http://googletest.googlecode.com/svn/trunk'
Checked out revision 485.
**Additional note: it seems many of the svn checkouts point to http (rather
than https) which causes failure
