I don't know if it's mac-only, but I did see it on my mac.
I googled "check out v8", which brought me to
https://code.google.com/p/v8/wiki/Source . That had an svn section (which
didn't say "deprecated" back then), so that's what I used. `git cl` is the
git version of `gcl`, I thought.
(But I bet this is just a presubmit, and presubmit logic is shared between
git cl and gcl, so I doubt git cl would make a difference.)
