hum, so in the case of node.js plugins, shouldn't node.js have some macro
that tells its plugins what exact version (and therefore v8 version) it
uses?
But I think it doesn't really matter whether we have the macros in the
header or not, so if somebody wants to put together a working patch (that
also updates all the scripts), I think we should take it
