New issue 3712 by [email protected]: Some test cases fail with SyntaxError when compiling eagerly (--nolazy)
https://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=3712

test/mjsunit/function-length-accessor.js
test/mjsunit/regress/regress-1145.js
test/mjsunit/regress/regress-2506.js

All those tests rely on the fact that SyntaxErrors only trigger on compilation, which happens lazily. If we do not compile lazily, the SyntaxError happens at a point where it's not caught.

The root cause here is that the preparser does not catch SyntaxErrors.
