Hello,
Thanks for your interest and excitement about TurboFan. Yes, it already
generates really good code for JavaScript that is "asm.js" shaped, but
that's certainly not its end goal in life. At the moment are experimenting
the enabling heuristics for TurboFan, and one signal is the "use asm"
annotation, but it's not the only signal.
We'll have more details about it when we feel it's ready for launch.
