Reading the Nov TC39 notes, looks like the performance issue was discussed
and
addressed by removing the pendingExeption bit from the spec, just throwing
the
first exception when it occurs.

(Presumably that's the reason lodash etc trump the Gecko impl, but I haven't
actually looked myself.)
