Tried it out with the the current master
6e56fd60e09875dfad989b0fcc9fa7af5a7ea886 and d8. Works there. I have
attached the test file. So I can confirm that it is fixed.
As for the cause: This would need a lot of digging which is time better
spent elsewhere :-).
