Interestingly, on my Z620 (Xeon E5-2690) running Chrome 41 on linux, I get
the following results:

Test log*recip: 1184 ms.
Test Math.log10: 1908 ms.
Test log10fc_Inline: 1336 ms.
Test log10fc: 1606 ms.
Test log10rtoyJS(c): 8934 ms.
Test log10rtoyJS(c)(n): 1788 ms.
Surprisingly, log10rtoyJS(c)(n) is faster(!?!) than Math.log10.
