Strictly speaking this is a bug tracker, not a user support forum (use
[email protected] for that); but yeah, we'd be interested in bugs
in recent versions of V8 (currently, that means "tip of the 4.3 branch" or
later).
However, it's not going to be that easy. V8's API evolves over time, and
you won't be able to just swap 4.4 into an embedder that expects 3.12. So I
expect MongoDB would require rather significant patches. That said,
updating V8 in MongoDB would be a good idea anyway; running a 2.5 year
old, unsupported V8 version in production is outright scary.
