What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run in d8
d8> encodeURI("a")
"a"
d8> delete String.prototype.charCodeAt
true
d8> encodeURI("a")
(d8):1: TypeError: encodeURI is not a function
2. Run in d8
d8> decodeURI("a")
"a"
d8> delete String.prototype.charCodeAt
true
d8> decodeURI("a")
What is the expected output?
- Deleting String.prototype.charCodeAt should not affect encodeURI and
decodeURI
What do you see instead?
- TypeErrors thrown after deleting String.prototype.charCodeAt
