New issue 4246 by kpdecker: Computed Property Names up to 25x slower than
ES5 equivalent
https://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=4246
Version: 4.2.77.20 (iojs)
OS: OS X
Architecture: x64
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. [email protected]:kpdecker/six-speed.git
2. npm install
3. gulp test:node
What is the expected output?
Performance should have little if any overhead relative to the ES5
implementation using piecemeal object construction.
What do you see instead?
Throughput is ~25x slower. One example has 35M ops/sec vs. 1.5M ops/sec.
