As you already pointed out, during compaction and new space evacuation the GC moves objects around. We cannot assemble a stack trace in this scenario because the heap is in an inconsistent state and the stack trace routine cannot safely dereference objects anymore.
Continuing is not possible because, well, we ran out of memory.
