Hi everyone,

I've written up a short document
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Sgcw-VzsU71k8Mb3ysXsdtjHFVCodtc4o3RsmMFmqcI/edit?usp=sharing>

about what I believe to be a promising opportunity: with pointer
compression enabled, we can use a lot more constants and a lot fewer
root-relative loads when referring to immortal immutable objects in
generated code. I'd appreciate any feedback and advice. Thanks!

-Seth
