Hi, The PLCT lab is working on a RISC-V porting project for V8. We have reached the first milestone of the project. The `d8' can run a single line helloworld.js on RISCV64 platform now.
Although the porting is incomplete currently, we would like to ask for some guidance or comments for further contributing to v8 upstream. Since there are huge features to be implemented for a new backend, I would like to ask that what is the proper time/status to start submit patch set to upstream? For example, the WASM / JIT support might not be mandatory for the first patch set. Is there a guidance or acceptance criteria? Thanks. The source code could be found at [1].
