FYI I maintain a Python V8 wrapper (available
at https://github.com/area1/stpyv8) and use
Github Actions to automatically build new releases on multiple platforms
and never experienced
this issue since the first release (v7.9.317.31).
To answer your questions, yes "gclient sync" is executed every time the
workflow runs and these
are the GN args I use
