I agree that non-determinism is an undesirable feature in a benchmark.
However, Math.random is overwritten in
base.js (see lines 84-98
inhttp://code.google.com/p/v8/source/browse/trunk/benchmarks/base.js) to be
deterministic. How do you run the benchmark and how much variation have you
seen due to the non-
determinism?
