Is there a smarter way of doing this besides editing the deps/v8/SConstruct files? Perhaps an option when running ./configure or make? You probably answered this with "Using the appropriate compiler options...", but unfortunately I have no idea what those would be. FYI, I believe that the sheeva does not have a fp unit in it. There is a lot of discussion on the sheevaplug board about how it'd be terrible for transcoding video because of this.
